Senior Fullstack Java developer

Skills and Responsibilities:

• 5 years of work experience in the Integration developer field

• Experience with application development e.g., Java, Python, scripting or SOAP/RESTExperience in Service Oriented Architecture

• Knowledge of integration concepts and patterns e.g. XML Schemas, SOAP, WS specify cations.

• Understanding of object-oriented languages and paradigms e.g. OOAD, design patterns

• Excellent problem-solving skills.

• Experience with Integration, API management/Gateway and microservices patterns.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Excellent understanding of application architecture

• Excellent Knowledge of Corporate Workplace Technology space

• Strong understanding of version control systems.

• Understanding of the DevOps processes and practices

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain integrations f or Smart Building IoT platform as well as existing building management solutions.

• Integrating with applications such as Fault Detection Diagnostics, Indoor Air Quality, People Counting, Occupancy Analytics and smart Building IoT Platform.

• Work collaboratively with the Security Architecture/Design teams apply appropriate controls f or integrations and APIs.

• Closely working with vendors to understand APIs and integration intern aces.

• Collaborate closely with internal and external key stakeholders and SMEs to def Ine best practices and standards/guidelines on integration protocols, encryption standard s, authentication methods as well as security parameters.

• Work with the Solution Architect, Systems Analyst and Business Analyst to define integrations and contribute to the overall solutions.

• Optimize and document the technical aspects of various solutions associated with the Smart.

• Buildings/IoT/OT space.

• Collaborate with Risk Management to ensure necessary controls to Vendor or in house-built applications/solutions.

• Troubleshooting problems, resolving root cause, and where possible, fixing the bug(s)
