Senior Gentax Developer - Tax

SENIOR DEVELOPER We are looking for a talented and experienced developer who will work closely with an IT development team supporting Tax Commission applications to design, implement and optimize solutions that meet our clients’ needs. The applications supported are for Motor Vehicle Title and Registration, Motor Vehicle Enforcement, Tax Processing, and Property Tax. As a developer, you will play a crucial role in the analysis, design and implementation of maintenance, upgrade and new development projects within GenTax (COTS Software). (Preferred West Coast Candidates) 1              Minimum 7 years of experience in designing and developing solutions within the Gentex system with demonstrated proficiency in SQL/T-SQL, and VB.Net/C# using Visual Studio. 2              Proficiency consuming and creating API services (SOAP, RESTful, XML, JSON, etc.). 3              Strong experience in functional requirements gathering and transferring them into technical requirements through system analysis and workflow/process design. Scoring: 60%- Experience with Gentax/DSVS product from Fast 20%- Proficiency consuming and creating API services (SOAP, RESTful, XML, JSON, etc.). 20%-Rate In the event of a tie in the total score between candidates in the top/winning positions, the technical score will be calculated (sans the cost factor), and the highest technical scorer of the tied candidates will be awarded the position. Should this method fail to yield an ultimate "winner," the candidates will be asked to participate in a best and final offer process.
