Senior HP Nonstop / Tandem Developer

Job Description

Work with Technology and Business/Product Teams to understand the requirements and translate into low-level Design

Coding using COBOL/SCOBOL/TACL/TAL languages.

Work on SQL/MP & SQL/MX Databases for optimal performance of the Application

Cross collaboration to understand the Architecture and lead rest of the Team towards final delivery

Work in an Agile environment with targeted Sprints

Roles & Responsibilities

In this role you will be partnering with technology, Operations, Product, Production Management team to deliver technical solutions to meet business objectives, troubleshoot defects and remediate production issue for Automated Clearing House (ACH) applications. You will be responsible for analysis, design, coding, debugging, testing, integration, implementation and maintenance of critical projects and enhancements.

Client NonStop Tandem hardware and software platform Client/TACL, OSS

Optional, but desired Skill Experience in configuring and Maintaining Oracle Golden Gate Replication on the Nonstop Tandem Systems. 

 

• Languages COBOL/SCOBOL, DDL, Enform, TAL procedure calls
• Database Enscribe, SQL MP, SQL MX, SQLCI, MXCI
• Requestor/Server communication via Pathway
• NonStop Utilities FUP, KLIST, SCUP, TACL, TMF
• Version Control tools RMSCOM, GIT
• Code Debugger Tool Inspect, Visual Inspect, eInspect
• Understanding of architecture and design across all System
• Knowledge of industry wide technology trends and best practices.
• Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals and passion about building an innovative culture.
  • Understanding of software skill such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement
  • Understanding of Banking and financial applications or related business experience.
  • Experience with and knowledge of US and/or Global ACH Systems, fund transfer or other payment systems is a plus.
