Senior Java Developer

Description

Must-Have Skills:

Strong proficiency in Java/J2EE and Spring Boot.
Solid experience with Oracle PL/SQL.
Familiarity with JMS, Kafka, SOAP/REST Web Services, Quartz Scheduler, and ORM frameworks like Hibernate/Ibatis/Mybatis.
Financial services background (Ideally Securities landing, foreign exchange , market risk management, collatoral management - but not a requirement)

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with Public Cloud technologies.
Proficiency in UNIX/LINUX bash/shell scripting.
Knowledge of UI framework technologies like Angular JS, React JS.

Required Experience

At least 7 years of professional experience in Java development, preferably within financial services.
Demonstrated experience in financial risk management projects is highly desirable.

Day-to-Day Expectations

Engage in all phases of software development from design to implementation, focusing on Java/Spring Boot.
Actively participate in team meetings and collaborate with global teams.
Prioritize and efficiently manage production support alongside development tasks.
