Roles & Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of geospatial applications using Java.
Develop robust, scalable, and efficient code to process geospatial data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate geospatial solutions into broader systems.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on time and on budget.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
Stay abreast of emerging geospatial technologies and methodologies.
Troubleshoot and debug applications.
Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards.
Participate in project planning and estimation activities.
Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Developer with strong Java skills.
Proficiency in database management systems, specifically MSSQL Server and Oracle.
Familiarity with geospatial libraries and tools.
Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Geospatial Sciences, or a related field is preferred.
Experience with agile development methodologies is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust to changing priorities.
