Senior Linux System Administrator

Job Description:

• The primary role is to install and configure the Linux operating system as well as manage and maintain Linux-based systems on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform.
• The position will be responsible for the deployment, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and more.
• It will also be responsible for System maintenance by reviewing error logs, system backups, monitoring system performance to prevent slowdowns and disruptions, License deployments and setup, which may include setting up a Linux Satellite server and deployment manager, and providing any needed technical support.
• This position will provide hands-on technical support for system security monitoring and optimizing the performance of these systems, as well as troubleshooting and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Additionally, this resource may be responsible for managing and maintaining other related technologies such as DDI (DNS, DHCP, and IPAM).
• Strong knowledge of Linux administration, AWS, and networking are required for this role.
• This position is required to be on call for evenings and weekends to meet business needs.
