Reporting to the Senior Director, Network Engineering this role will manage and grow the team that is responsible for expanding our network capabilities to enable millions of developers throughout the world to build, deploy and scale the next generation of applications.
What You'll Be Doing
- Talent development and performance management; coaching and mentoring to team and developing a culture of inclusivity and collaboration
- Partner with senior leadership to co-develop multi-year roadmaps for the technology areas across the organization
- Proactively identify and solve challenges that negatively impact successful service delivery to partners
- Develop annual team operating budget, update forecast monthly and maintain contracts that support your areas of responsibility
- Strategic planning, quarterly business reviews and building relevant metrics for key insights
- Contract, vendor and budget management, negotiations and CapEx and OpEx
- Presenting fresh ideas to senior management, using interpersonal skills to influence positive outcomes

- Change agent - introduce and mature the Scrum methodology and its corresponding ceremonies in the Networking Team by continuously educating the engineers and inspire them to work as one dev entity with a common goal
- At least 4 years of progressive experience in advanced global information technology, network operations, or engineering and design
- 3+ years’ experience of people and talent and performance management; passion to mentor, motivate, and coach team members
- Scrum Master - preferably a Certified Advanced Scrum Master with proven expertise in building and leading development teams
- BS in Math, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or 4+ years equivalent working experience
- MBA a plus
- Network certification preferred (CCNA, JNCIA, Network+, ACMA, SolarWinds, F5-CA, PCCSA etc.)
