We are looking for an experienced business development leader with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas consistently in their career. This sales leader is expected to be a self-starter and highly motivated to onboard new clients with a sense of urgency.
Responsibilities include:
- Direct sales of ACL Digital Data CRO/FSP services to Pharma/Medical Devices industries.
- Service areas include but are not limited to clinical and statistical SAS programming, clinical data management, biostatistics,etc), regulatory, QA, PV, clinical operations, technologies like Blockchain, Cloud, etc., applicable to the above-mentioned domains, and other IT core areas.
- The sales leader is expected to develop a sales plan for accounts to be decided mutually with the sales management, focusing on achieving net new revenue of $2 million annually from the select new accounts (for the first year).
- Responsible for account planning and developing a sales funnel for consulting, staffing, FSP, and other solutions in the US.
- Works with direct sales and sales support team members to implement growth plans and sales activities.
- Implement sales and business development plans to exceed annual targets.
- Accurately forecasts new and renewal sales on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Proactively communicate with the management team on sales activities and progress.
- Works in conjunction with the strategic business group to negotiate contracts and bids.
- Utilize CRM tools to enter and track the progress of opportunities.
Requirements
- At least 5 to 8 years of direct selling experience to small, mid to large CROs.
- Direct experience in staffing or CRO recruitment agencies is highly preferred.
- Should have a good understanding of clinical development, data management, regulatory submissions, and pharmacovigilance.
- Should have managed at least $3 - $4 M annual sales with multi-year bookings.
- Should have existing strong connections with decision-makers in the CRO industry.
- Should have a self-motivated hunter mindset.
- Works collaboratively with inside sales, partners, and the large ALTEN ecosystem.
- Should have experience in supporting sales operations that include SOW, MSA, invoicing, and collections.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
