Senior MDM Business Solution Architect - Sales Operations

What you’ll be doing:

Play a critical role in enabling data architecture and governance to help drive standardized and sustainable enterprise data footprint.

Define unified data strategy that aligns with business goals and lays foundation for business process digital transformation.

Assess and document the end-to-end data flow for Sales Operations, Forecast to Cash (includes Order to Cash (OTC)) and SW & Services processes, including product, customer, supplier master data and the derived master and enterprise data elements. Partner with business to define data taxonomy, policy, catalog, lineage and challenge the status quo. Identify data stewards and establish multi-functional user councils to define and drive KPI’s to measure data quality and integrity. Build an enterprise data governance model to drive timely and effective business decision making and achieving operational excellence.

Perform data audits and report data quality metrics as part of data governance reviews.

Design and implement tools to accelerate data architecture and workflows to support evolving business processes and needs.

Support process improvements for SAP/ Non-SAP/ SFDC enterprise data changes by collaborating with business and technical teams. Support user acceptance testing for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), MDM, SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), SFDC Customer Relationship Management (CRM) enhancements and collaborate with development teams for timely issue resolution.

Drive innovation and automation in MDM & DQM by collaborating with business intelligence, machine learning and artificial intelligence teams.

Influence C-level, VP level executives, business owners and IT partners to align on process transformation, data governance and data strategy to support company growth.

What we need to see:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering/ supply chain management or equivalent experience is required. Advanced degree or relevant certification is desired in data domain (data engineer preferred), Sales Operations, OTC and SW & Services (SAP/ SFDC/ APICS certification preferred)

12+ years as enterprise data governance and MDM functional SME or similar role, with focus in Sales Operations, Forecast to Cash (includes Order to Cash (OTC)) and SW & Services domain (hands-on experience in SAP, SFDC, or any other leading domain solution is preferred)

Partner with functional, technical architecture and development teams for seamlessly implementing the MDM & DQM processes and solutions.

Experience working in SAP & Non-SAP applications and understanding of multi-functional business processes in Sales Operations, Forecast to Cash (includes Order to Cash (OTC)) and SW & Services domain (order creation, delivery scheduling, pricing, goods issue, consolidated shipment, customer invoice, customer payments, business partners (SAP S/4), customer hierarchy, credit checks, revenue recognition, customer forecast collaboration, allocation management, order confirmation, enterprise license management, sales operations etc.) and enterprise data elements and their inter dependency with finance, sales, purchasing, marketing, planning, operations and engineering processes etc.

Experience in working with business to transform processes, establishing data policy & governance, and implementing enterprise level solution with experience in MDM & DQM processes and tools (hands-on experience in SAP MDG/ Informatica/ Collibra or similar product is helpful). Familiarity with industry standard processes and regulatory requirements.
