Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job Description:

• Bs in mechanical with 10+ years experience 3D CAD design experience (Solidworks) , centrifugal compressors, New product development,  GD&T, DFMEA, Tolerance, Casting as a member of the engineering team, work to design manufacturing equipment for testing and assembling of centrifugal and multi stage compressors.
• Onsite Coordinator for multiple design Projects in Air Compressors for HVAC applications
• New Product Design & development of Compressors subsystems (Preferred experience in rotating equipment design & development)
• Design calculations as per ASME standards
• DFMEA, Risk analysis & Mitigation plan as part of new product development
• Coordinate vendors for Manufacturability check, RFQ & proto development & Testing
• Support for documentation for certifications

Skills:

• Proficient with Solidworks, mechanical, manufacturing systems
• Develop new equipment from concept through launch
• Knowledge of machining and tolerances , knowledge of GD&T, material properties
• Proficiency in selection of materials and OEM components and adopt engineering principles and technologies during equipment/ machine
• Experience of engineering change managements, analyze and trouble shoot issues.
