Responsibilities:

- Contribute actively to the codebase, crafting high-quality code and engaging in collaborative code reviews.

- Take end-to-end responsibility for assigned components, from code development to seamless deployment and maintenance.

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and clients to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of feature releases.

- Participate in decision-making processes related to architecture, coding practices, and technical choices.

- Evaluate tradeoffs and make pragmatic decisions to develop robust and scalable systems.

About You:

- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

- Degree from a top-tier university, preferably with a postgraduate qualification in Computer Science.

- 2-5 years of industry experience.

- Proficiency in Java, Spring, Kafka, Python, and REST APIs.

- Strong emphasis on automated testing and quality assurance.

- Concern for system uptime and performance.

- Demonstrated ability to spend at least 70% of working time writing code.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies while making pragmatic choices.

- Willingness to share knowledge and experience to enhance code quality, practices, and team processes.

- Basic interest in data science, machine learning (ML), and natural language processing (NLP), with a desire to expand knowledge in these
