Description of the job functions the contractor will be expected to perform.
Responsible for helping to maintain MDEQ enterprise financial and HR systems through debugging, coding, data changes, data query, and report writing duties.
Conduct design sessions, code, test, deliver, and maintain new applications, as well as assisting with Microsoft SharePoint administration and projects.
Write documentation and train members, ensuring tools, reference materials and training needed to support projects are available to team members.
Investigate, analyze, and resolve issues encountered by users and provide direction for timely issue resolution.
Responsible for testing of system fixes/patches which include writing and executing test scripts to ensure no issues will be introduced to the system as a result of a patch or bundle.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to translate requirements and information from the various MDEQ divisions into technical specifications.
Working knowledge of Visual Studio, VisualBasic, C#, javascript, .NetFramework,Oracle Forms, Redact.js and SQL programming languages.
Familiarity with Oracle and Microsoft Sql Databases, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) Crystal Reports, PowerBI, and SSRS.
A good understanding of Accounting and HR processes (ex. invoices, quotes, purchase requisitions, payroll processingand etc.).
