Operations Manager Network and Firewall Management (Routing & Switching, F5, Fortinet)Technical skills and Experience:

Primary Skill Set:

1) Minimum 3 years of recent overall Project Management experience managing a Team of at least twenty people for a Renowned Multinational Company.

2) 6-8 Years Relevant Technical Experience - Supporting Corporate / Multinational companies on Design/Implementation and Architectural Knowledge.

3) Knowledge of Datacenter and Infrastructure Management and experience of managing a Team of 15 FTE.

4) Strong People Management Skills, strong Communication Skills, Email Writing Skills & assertiveness.

 

The Job profile would include the below Roles and Responsibilities:

1) Manages day to day Business Operations while balancing the responsibilities of various business lines such as Business analysis, Vendor management and Risk management along with administrative responsibilities like scheduling, attendance, leaves etc.

2) Responsible for overseeing all Technical Teams that participate in the Service and Take primary responsibility for Operations.

3) Monitoring ticket assignment, ageing, and closure and identify ways of taking on additional workload, left shift opportunities etc.

4) Drive cooperation and performance of the technical teams for a specific Service and Serves as the primary point of contact to the operations regarding overall and day-to-day Service Delivery

5) Works closely with management team to ensure all operational, administrative, and compliance functions within the firm are being properly executed in accordance with regulatory-based best practices.

6) Reporting to the Management with various Statistics & Metrics as required.

7) Align with Service Desk in case of Incident/Problem/Change Oversees and reports Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual metrics.

8) Able to manage Client Communication and Escalation.

9) Functional understanding of ITIL. Driving Continues Service Improvement of the Service(s)Assist in defining KPIs for team members.

10) Skill & Competency Gap Assessment.

11) Managing Audits (Internal and External). Risk Tracking and Closure.

12) Willing to work in a 24x7 Support environment.

13) Secondary Skills (Advantage to have) Knowledge of Automation tools and processes.

14) Working knowledge of Service Now dashboards, O365 tools.

15) Monitor & enhance team productivity & utilization.

16) Effectively present operational matrices, tickets trend during weekly and monthly business review to stakeholders.

17) Knowledge of Security and Vulnerability Assessment. Relevant Tertiary certification related to the IT industry and/or vendor / technology-based certification (PMP/Prince 2/ITIL Foundation/ITIL 4 Foundation)
