Senior Optimizely Web Developer

Job Description:
Senior Optimizely Web Developer Client seeks to contract with a highly experienced Optimizely web developer to work with in-house developers to program custom templates and themeable blocks, analyze and troubleshoot existing code, and provide guidance on best practices.

Candidate Experience:
• Expertise in Optimizely Digital Experience Cloud Platform, React, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS3, HTML 5, SASS, Webkit, Webpack, Microsoft Azure, and Azure DevOps.
• Working knowledge of, C#, ASP.NET, MVC (Razor Engine), SQL Server, Continuous Integration, Automated Testing, TeamCity, and Octopus.

Candidate Qualifications:
• Excellent front-end development skills.
• Strong consulting and communication skills.
• Team player with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
• Work independently and manage technical requirements.
• Write clean, optimized, well-commented and easily digestible code.
• Strong debugging, problem solving and investigative skills.
• Write technical documentation, if needed.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science (or equivalent).
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
• Minimum of 2 years Optimizely/Episerver experience .

Developers will work remotely on their own equipment. Developer will be provided with a virtual machine with all of the software necessary to perform the job. Developer will remote into the VM daily to perform the work.
