Senior Performance Test Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities :
Performance Test Planning : Design and implement performance test plans for targeted API endpoints
 

Tool Utilization : Select and utilize performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) to simulate real-world usage scenarios

Execution & Analysis : Execute performance and load tests, analyzing results to identify performance bottlenecks and scalability issues

Collaboration : Collaborate with development teams to diagnose performance problems and recommend optimization solutions

Framework Development : Develop and maintain performance testing frameworks and automation scripts

Monitoring : Monitor system performance metrics and proactively identify potential performance issues

Continuous Improvement : Stay updated on the latest performance testing trends and methodologies

Qualifications
 

Experience : Minimum 6+ years as a Performance Engineer or in a related role

Testing Expertise : Proven experience in designing, conducting, and analyzing performance and load tests

Tool Proficiency : Strong understanding of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner)

Scripting Skills : Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java) for test automation

Analytical Ability : Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Team Player : Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team

Communication Skills : Strong communication and written documentation skills
