Description

Required Skills:

A minimum of seven (7) years of broad, extensive, and increasingly responsible experience applying PM principles, methods, techniques, and tools.

At least four (4) years of that experience must have been as a Senior PM of one (1) or more large or complex IT projects.

Bachelor's degree. Four years of experience, in addition to the years required above, may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

A valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate issued by the Project Management Institute (PMI).

A minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Senior PM implementing an IT project for a federal, state, or local entity.

A minimum of three (3) years of experience of schedule management and Microsoft (MS) Project.

A minimum of two (2) years of risk management experience.

A minimum of two (2) years of experience performing business process review and gap analysis.

A minimum of five (5) years of experience managing a portfolio that contains a minimum of three (3) projects.

A minimum of one (1) year of experience leading Agile ceremonies using Agile tools, e.g., JIRA or equivalent technologies. 

Desired Skills:

Possession of a Master’s degree.

Two (2) or more years of experience as a Senior PM on a large-scale business system modernization project.

Two (2) or more years of experience applying Agile SCRUM Project Management Methodologies to IT projects.

Two (2) or more years of experience managing a project for an Unemployment Insurance or Disability Insurance program.
