Senior Power BI specialist

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop end-to-end business intelligence framework for online products and SAAS solutions based on requirements that include recommending an appropriate architecture (on-premises/cloud), analytics, and reporting. Each day, you will evaluate business data to produce meaningful insights and metrics and to identify trends that could improve business performance. You will also showcase your expertise by designing new dashboards using best practices and intuitive visualization. The work model for the role is remote. Key Responsibilities : Develop and implement BI through working in Agile teams. Work with finance and business teams to gather and analyze requirements, coming up with effective solutions based on available options. Provide business application analysis and data modelling design to collect, standardize, maintain, monitor and audit business data for effective centralized data warehouse. Create interactive dashboards and reports through Power BI and other BI tools. Support acceptance, governance, resource management and performance of the Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Warehousing (DW) applications. Develop and maintain processes of automated data and using various business intelligence reporting tools to create dashboards. Provide coaching and training support for finance teams and business units for faster adoption of Power BI reports. Work in cross-functional agile scrum teams to deliver visualization dashboards.

Qualifications for the role

• 5+ years Business Intelligence experience, of which 3+ years in developing and implementing enterprise-scale reports and dashboards using Power BI
• Experience working with multiple data source and working with import mode, direct query and composite models.
• Experience building advanced data models and optimizing existing ones.
• Expertise writing and optimizing DAX queries and using advanced-level calculation on data set
• Experience on data visualization concepts, such as designing dashboards (wireframing) and developing reports
• Expertise with PBI dashboard performance tuning, RLS in PBI, Power query scripting in PBI and SQL basic scripting knowledge.
• Expertise with PBI services, access management and gateway setups.
