Design, develop and validate/test new orthopedic products. Document dFMEA, Risk Assessment Summary, Risk Management Reports, Traceability Matrices, Post Market Management Reports, Traceability Matrices, Post Market Surveillance Plan, Verification Summary, Validation Summary, Validation Summary, and design changes. Author design verification/validation protocols/ reports. Perform root cause analysis for verification test failures and develop mitigation plans. Work with test engineers to summarize mechanical and tribological test reports. Must be willing to relocate to unanticipated locations throughout the United States. Applicant must have a Master’s Degree in Mechanical and Energy Engineering, a related field, or foreign equivalent, and 2 years of experience in design controls, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing – ASME Y14.5, risk management files, CAD (NX11 or higher), design verification and validation, and statistical analysis. Must have proof of legal authority to work in the US.
