Job description

• Strategic planning: Developing and overseeing long-term project strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Project portfolio management: Managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing resources across them.
• Stakeholder management: Communicating with and managing expectations of high-level stakeholders, including executives and clients.
• Risk management: Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across the project effectively to reduce the capability for the risk to be realized.
• Resource allocation: Optimizing the use of human, financial, and material resources across assigned projects as well as cross impacting projects.
• Quality assurance: Ensuring projects meet or exceed quality standards and deliver expected outcomes as define by the IT PMO.
• Financial oversight: Managing budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting for large-scale projects or programs.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Working with various departments and other project managers to ensure project alignment and success.
• Performance monitoring: Tracking and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) for projects and teams.
• Change management: Guiding teams and stakeholders through organizational changes resulting from projects.

Required Technology Knowledge

• Proven experience in project management, preferably in IT or software development
• In-depth understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Familiarity with cloud migration tools and methodologies
• Knowledge of cloud architecture, security, and networking concepts
• Understanding of containerization and serverless technologies
• Experience with Agile and Iterative project management methodologies   
• In depth knowledge of SharePoint and migrating it from hosted datacenter to cloud solution
