Senior Python Developer

Job Responsibilities

· Build and maintain RESTful APIs using Python frameworks.
· Build ETL pipelines to streamline and automate data extraction & transformation processes.
· Prepare unit test cases and validate the results for accuracy.
· Responds promptly to bug reports.
· Troubleshoot and resolve data processing issues.
· Document code consistently throughout the development process
· Provide analysis of current programs which includes performance, diagnosis and troubleshooting of problem programs and designing solutions to problematic programming.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

· Bachelor's degree, with a focus on MIS, computer science, or another quantitative field.

· 5 – 8 years hands-on experience:
· Python development & familiarity with Python frameworks such as Flask or Django
· Building, maintaining and optimizing RESTful APIs using Python.
· Microsoft SQL Server.
· Agile methodologies from inception to implementation.
· Development tools such as Jenkins, Git, GitHub/BitBucket, Jira, etc .
· Demonstrate an eagerness to learn and tackle difficult challenges.
· Capable of working independently as well as part of a team
· Capable of taking initiatives to look for ways to improve the products such as identifying inefficiencies and/or learn new technologies that enhance current products capabilities.
· Delivery oriented, conscientious and reliable; strong written and verbal communication.
 

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

· Experience with data visualization such as Tableau, Power BI, or SSRS.
· Experience with Azure microservices
· Azure certifications a plus
