The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for ensuring that new functionality/systems are thoroughly tested with a high quality of assurance and that any changes to production environments perform as expected to minimize risks associated with the changes.

Accountabilities:

Performs functional & system integration testing effort for new functionality/enhancements.
Performs peer review of the work done by the QA testers and provide valuable feedback.
Provides regular updates to QA Manager regarding test status, defects and risks.
Validates and closes-out all issues prior to test sign-off.
Works with other QA staff to setup testing tool and processes.
Collaborates with other QA staff to accomplish all daily QA tasks on-time with a high level of quality.
Creates test scenarios and detailed test cases from the requirements/use cases.
Defines Functional & System Integration Test scenarios using testing best practices.
Defines testing estimates & prioritizes testing items as per business criticality and impact.
Documents and facilitates communication and troubleshooting of issues, bugs and changes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Architecture, Finance or Business, or equivalent work experience.
7+ years working in QA / Software Testing with at least 3 years as a Sr. QA Analyst.
1+ year of experience using test management and automation tools such as HP ALM/Quality Center and UFT.
Strong experience with testing in capital markets and investment banking domain.
