Role:

Senior QA Engineer with Healthcare Experience


Responsibilities:


Agile/Scrum Environment:
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Align QA processes with Agile methodologies and project timelines.


Test Strategy Development:
• Draft and implement effective test strategies for healthcare applications and medical device integrations.
• Create, document, and maintain functional test cases and test artifacts, including test data, data validation, and automated scripts.


Software Requirements Review:
• Review and analyze software requirements to develop effective test plans and scenarios.
• Ensure thorough understanding of product requirements for accurate testing feedback.


Test Execution:
• Perform detailed tests on software usability, functionality, and performance.
• Assess database impacts, identify errors or bugs, and evaluate usability.


Analysis and Reporting:
• Analyze test results to pinpoint issues, bugs, or usability problems.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on testing activities, outcomes, and defects for the design and development teams.


Client Interaction:
• Engage with clients to gather product requirements and understand specific needs.
• Collaborate with clients and development teams to ensure product requirements are met.
Design Reviews and Input:


• Participate in design reviews, providing feedback on requirements, product design, and potential issues.
• Validate designs and assist developers in identifying potential root causes of issues.


Continuous Improvement:
• Continuously seek to improve QA processes and practices to enhance overall product quality.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in software testing and healthcare IT.


Technical Skills:
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Proven experience in the healthcare industry with a strong understanding of medical device integrations and tests.
• Expertise in drafting test strategies and executing tests on software usability.
• Strong analytical skills for analyzing test results and identifying issues.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and development teams.
• Ability to prepare detailed reports and present findings to stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks is a plus.
