Mission:

As a Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads, facilitating interactions with potential business clients, and assisting the sales team in closing deals. This role requires a deep understanding of the company's products or services, as well as the ability to lead and mentor junior SDRs.

 

When you are working with us, you will:

· Lead Generation: Proactively identify and target potential B2B customers through various outbound and inbound channels, such as cold calls, emails, social media, and web research.
· Lead Qualification: Assess and qualify leads to ensure they align with the company's ideal customer profile and have a genuine interest in the products or services offered.
· Sales Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand their needs, align on lead qualification criteria, and ensure a smooth handover of qualified opportunities.
· Team Leadership: Mentor and train junior SDRs, providing guidance on lead generation techniques, objection handling, and best practices in the B2B sales context.
· Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and target markets to tailor your approach effectively and provide insights to the sales and marketing teams.
· Communication: Engage with potential B2B clients professionally, articulate the value proposition of the company's offerings, and set up meetings, product demonstrations, or further interactions.
· CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of lead interactions and activities in the CRM system.
· Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports and insights on lead generation and conversion metrics, helping the team refine strategies and achieve sales targets.
· Continual Learning: Stay current with industry best practices, evolving sales methodologies, and product knowledge to continuously enhance your skills.
· Team Player: Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, especially the sales and marketing departments.
· Leadership Skills: Ability to mentor and lead junior SDRs, sharing knowledge and best practices for B2B lead generation and qualification.
o A proactive and persistent attitude in reaching and engaging with business clients, overcoming objections, and addressing B2B-specific challenges.

Requirements:

A minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an SDR or in a similar B2B sales role.
Experience in a senior or leadership capacity is preferred. Has the ability to understand the lead generation process and interpret lead qualification metrics.
Thorough understanding of the company's B2B products or services and their relevance to the business clients
A willingness to adapt to changing market conditions and B2B sales strategies, and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
Can show an understanding of the CMS Open Payments process and Sunshine Law reporting.
Have highly developed interpersonal and communication skills. 
Naturally curious, open to learning.
Self-motivated, grasps concepts quickly.
Have strong analytical and organizing skills. Proficient in using Ms. Excel and Ms. PowerPoint.
Ability and willingness to cold call.
Can adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions. Copes effectively with complexity and change.
