Senior Search Engineer

5+ years of Elasticsearch development and experience in building and managing Elasticsearch clusters (ideally within an enterprise-level domain)
Strong hands-on experience on designing, building and managing scalable, high-performance, distributed enterprise systems
Experience in upgrading Elasticsearch clusters in-place or in a separate new cluster (ideally between versions 6, 7, and 8)
Experience in managing Elasticsearch clusters to meet desired levels of security, scalability, performance, and availability
Deployment and configuration of Elastic aliases, beats and agents
Management of ingest pipelines and deep understanding of ingest processors
Some experience with Java asynchronous programming, multithreading, implementing APIs, and Microservices, including Spring Boot
Some knowledge of SQL
Experience with Systems Design & CI/CD pipelines
Cloud computing, preferably AWS
Solid verbal and written communication and consultant/client-facing skills are a must. As a true consultant, you are a self-starter who takes initiative.
