Senior Security Engineer

About The Role

Flipkart is seeking a skilled, technocrat, motivated, strong security mindset and collaborative Senior Information Cloud Security Engineer in the Security Engineering team. You will serve as an expert and be a mentor to the Security Engineering team members. You will be a strong communicator and influencer, demonstrate curiosity to learn and understand the business.

What You’ll Do

Primary responsibility is to ensure that the cloud environment is secured from any
internal/external threats
Ensure various benchmarks/compliance, not limited to CIS, are maintained for the cloud
platforms
Develop automation scripts for conducting comprehensive reviews and/or perform remediation
activities, etc
Assist SOC in implementing remediations, manual and automated, on the cloud environment
Act as the single point of contact for issues related to cloud security Revise and develop processes to ensure cloud security is not compromised
Conduct POCs for various tools which will augment the cloud security posture of the
organisation
Creation of reports, dashboards, metrics related to cloud and presenting it to the Sr. Mgmt.
Assist in developing and improving IRM playbooks
Assist in IR drills
Conduct Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration tests of the Cloud Infrastructure
Assist in reduction of external attack surface
Working knowledge of Web application firewall

What You’ll Need

Bachelor’s degree in information technology or other related field.
Very strong security mindset
At least 6-9 years of working experience in domains related to information security with focus on security automations including cloud security infra, development and exploitation of open source security tools
Well versed with various cloud platforms, predominantly GCP/Azure 2. Proficient in native cloud security services 3. Good knowledge of operating systems like Windows and linux and database technologies 4. Knowledge of containers and orchestrations technologies 5. Well versed with python programming language 6. Good Interpersonal communication skill
