Job Description:

We are currently seeking a proficient and dedicated Service Engineer with a strong technical background in maritime navigation and communication systems. The Service Engineer will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless operation and performance optimization of our cutting-edge systems installed on vessels worldwide. This role demands a meticulous attention to detail, a passion for problem-solving, and a commitment to delivering unparalleled technical support to our esteemed clientele.


 

Responsibilities:

Execute the installation, configuration, and calibration of maritime navigation and communication systems, including but not limited to radar systems, GPS navigation systems, VHF/UHF communication systems, and electronic chart display and information systems (ECDIS)

Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments and troubleshooting procedures to identify and resolve technical issues promptly, both remotely and on-site

Perform routine maintenance activities, including software updates, hardware inspections, and component replacements, to ensure the optimal performance and longevity of installed systems

Collaborate closely with internal teams, particularly engineering and product development, to provide valuable insights from field experiences and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Develop and deliver technical training sessions and materials for clients and internal staff to enhance understanding and proficiency in operating and maintaining our systems

Maintain accurate records of service activities, including service reports, work orders, and equipment inventory, in compliance with company standards and industry regulations
