Senior Software Engineer-Node Js

About You (Skills & Experience Required)

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or master’s degree (BE, ME, B Tech, M Tech, MCA, MS)

3+ years of experience in designing and developing web/RestAPI applications using Node Js (Nest Framework).

Experience with Node.js and NestJS framework.

Proficiency in PostgreSQL or other relational database management systems (RDBMS).

Solid understanding of Git and version control workflows.

Deep knowledge of RESTful API design and optimization for performance.

Familiarity with coding best practices, including clean code principles and testing methodologies.

It would be great if you also had,

Experience with Docker and containerization technologies.

Previous experience in team management or mentoring.

What will you be doing in this role? 

Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Node.js with NestJS.

Implement and optimize RESTful APIs to ensure high performance and low latency.

Work with relational databases, primarily PostgreSQL, to design efficient data models and queries.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Ensure best coding practices are followed across the team, including code reviews and unit testing.

Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues to enhance user experience.

Mentor junior developers and contribute to team management.

Coach junior team members on delivering results and encouraging their professional development.

Troubleshooting production bugs, incident management support, Performance tuning for the existing web Application.
