Description


Responsibilities

Perform testing activities under direction of the engineering manager and/or test lead
Engineer new automated testing methodologies
Partner with developers to write automation
Monitor, debug, and fix breakages within our automated infrastructure
Improve the developer experience via automated pipelines that includes timely


feedback and a seamless path to production

Add and democratize new forms of data and metrics that enable the team to make


decisions on where to focus and improve our tests

Help ensure new code moves easily through our deployment pipeline
Work with engineering teams when issues are found in deployed services and part of


the on-call rotation for our team

Partner with SWEs and SDETs throughout the software org to encourage adoption of


the services we build

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

Demonstrated expertise with AWS, CDK, GitHub Actions (or similar tooling)
Experience with RESTful API testing
Demonstrated proficiency with TypeScript / JavaScript
