Senior Solutions Architect

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced, hands-on Senior Solutions Architect with a strong background in AI and cybersecurity architecture. This role is critical to our organization’s efforts in implementing and managing AI-powered tools and enhancing our cybersecurity practices. The ideal candidate will guide our AI task force, provide oversight on AI deployment, and address critical IT infrastructure needs. This is a senior individual contributor role, not a managerial position.

Key Responsibilities:

1. AI Implementation & Oversight:
   • Lead initiatives to roll out AI functionalities in tools like Zoom AI Companion and Microsoft 365 Co-Pilot.
   • Develop and enforce guidelines, training, and limitations for safe and effective AI use.
   • Collaborate with a 15-person AI task force to establish rules and best practices for AI applications.
   • Evaluate AI implications in the workplace, including copyright, data privacy, and usage risks.
   • Ensure compliance and best practices for generating and handling AI-created content.
2. Cybersecurity & Endpoint Management:
   • Support cybersecurity initiatives, leveraging tools like Arctic Wolf to monitor and address security alerts.
   • Assist in patch management for both network and user devices, ensuring timely and secure updates.
   • Oversee and improve endpoint management solutions using tools like Intune and auto mocks for over 225 users.
3. IT Infrastructure Support:
   • Assist the IT team with managing day-to-day ticket resolutions, alleviating workload as needed.
   • Provide support in organizing and streamlining Jira and Confluence, ensuring efficient usage and reduced backlog.
   • Perform a comprehensive audit on Active Directory, reducing and organizing over 1,600 existing groups.
   • Create or update network diagrams as needed, though this is a lower-priority task.
4. Project Leadership:
   • Drive larger IT initiatives with a focus on strategic improvements.
   • Ensure all implementations align with business objectives and enhance organizational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with a focus on AI integration and cybersecurity practices.
• Technical Expertise: Strong background in implementing and managing AI tools in corporate environments, especially Zoom AI Companion and Microsoft 365 Co-Pilot.
• Cybersecurity Knowledge: Proficiency in using security monitoring and endpoint protection tools (e.g., Arctic Wolf, Intune).
• IT Operations: Hands-on experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira), collaboration tools (e.g., Confluence), and Active Directory management.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to tackle complex IT issues and implement effective solutions, particularly with high-priority cybersecurity alerts and patch management.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to train and guide cross-functional teams on AI best practices and cybersecurity.
