Role and Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide Management and Tech leadership to the support team.
  • Work continuously towards reducing manual tasks and improving application reliability and resiliency in the environment.
  • Develop solutions to improve system stability and reliability in the production environment.
  • Ability and willingness to multi-task and learn new technologies quickly.
  • Communicating with project managers, enterprise architects, business analysts, customers and developers to develop cohesive project strategies and ensure effective collaboration throughout all phases of development, testing, deployment and Support.

     

Experience Required

 

  • 6+ years of experience working with Mainframe technologies like COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, etc.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment or familiarity with Agile methodology.
  • Experienced in Application/Operations Support Role.
  • Must be comfortable in a Scrum Agile, fast-paced, dynamic environment with excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be able to reprioritize and shift gears as necessary to deliver critical functionality in time to meet our customers' needs while ensuring quality.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision.

     

Technical/Functional Skills

Hands-on Experience in one or more of following technologies - 

COBOL, DB2, SQL, CICS, JCL, Git, Endeavor
