Description

Duties Responsibilities: Must be Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (Fluid Mechanics) • 5-10 years of industry experience with hands on hardware testing and technical background in mechanical assemblies that are related to motion control and structures • Experience working with suppliers of sheet metal, machined, cast, and injection molded mechanical parts to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues • Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.…) • Strong written and oral communication skills • Travel: 5-10% Support/Perform Bench and instrument-based test needs for Fluidics Development team · Maintain Fluidics laboratory and equipment · Develop and assemble test fixtures · Develop test protocols · Conduct tests ranging from single measurements to DOE/Robust Optimizations · Conduct Inspections of parts · Write Reports/K-briefs documenting testing · Suggest improvements, next steps, etc. · Troubleshooting/Root Cause Investigation
