Senior Technical Analyst

Job Description:

We're seeking a Lead Data Mapper to join our Regional IFRS17 Programme team as a Data Mapper cum Business Analyst. This role involves working towards compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards for Insurance Industry. Your primary responsibilities include eliciting and analyzing data requirements, translating business requirements into mapping documents for ETL, conducting testing phases, and supporting user training. You'll collaborate closely with various teams and adhere to IT application processes and standards.

Responsibilities:

Facilitate workshops to gather project requirements from business users.
Perform data mapping ensuring compliance with IFRS17 standards and system solutions.
Generate necessary artefacts such as data mapping specifications and integration/interface specifications.
Develop expertise in IFRS17 product configuration to support business needs.
Collaborate with solution vendors for system unit testing.
Execute functional and system integration tests, and support users during acceptance testing.
Contribute to the development of IFRS17 and insurance-specific subject matter expertise.
Requirements:

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or Finance/Insurance.
Certified Business Analysis (CBAP or equivalent) and Agile/Scrum certification preferred.

Experience:

Minimum 4-5 years of IT experience, preferably in the Insurance industry.
Minimum 3 years of ETL data mapping experience in Insurance domain and Financial reporting systems.
Strong understanding of legacy systems, data models, and ETL processing.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with database queries.
Familiarity with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and data warehouse concepts preferred.
Knowledge of IFRS4 or IFRS17 and insurance domain expertise are advantages.
