About the Role:

Job Title: Senior UI Developer 

Project Summary:

• Ascendion is seeking a talented Fullstack Developer with expertise in both frontend and backend technologies to join our dynamic team. As a Fullstack Developer, you will be responsible for building robust and scalable web applications, with a primary focus on frontend development using JavaScript and Angular, while also contributing to backend development using Java.

Responsibilities:

• Develop frontend components and user interfaces using Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with design teams to implement user-friendly interfaces and ensure seamless user experiences.
• Design and develop backend services and APIs using Java.
• Integrate frontend interfaces with backend services to deliver end-to-end functionality.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to software development best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Qualifications:

• 8 + years of experience in software development
• 70% Front-end and 30% Backend experience using Angular 8, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Healthcare claims related experience.

Location:Chicago, IL/Richardson, TX (3 days onsite a week)
