The Planning, Governance, and Innovation department in Technology Services of the Division of Management propose to engage a Contractor to provide support for Workday.
The Contractor will deliver expertise in Benefits within Workday.
The Contractor will be expected to support the planning, implementation, configuration, design, deployment, and testing of Workday Feature Releases, which occur twice annually.
In addition, the resource will also help support operational tasks including providing backlog support and assistance with critical operational issues as needed.
Requirements:
The candidate shall possess the knowledge and skills set forth in the Technical Services Client, Section 3.20.7.1.
In addition, the candidate shall have demonstrated experience in the following:
Hands on experience with Workday configurations
At least 7 Years’ experience in the following: implementing and configure Workday solutions, designing, configuring, testing, and deploying business requirements across multiple Workday module(s)
At least 7 years of experience with assessing, implementing, and testing Workday Feature
Releases, enhancements, updates
Possess clear, concise, and effective verbal and written communication for test and change related documentation
Work independently and meet deadlines for assigned tasks
Simultaneously works on several complex assignments, some requiring collaboration with external groups
Possess strong analytical and research skills
At least 7 years of enterprise resource planning (ERP), Workday HCM upgrade experience.
7 years of industry knowledge in Benefits Administration
Responsibilities:
Understand the Board’s ERP architecture and how Workday integrates within the system
Assist with planning and executing regression testing for each Workday Feature Release
Assist as needed with Workday scrum teams
Support peer reviews on changes made by developers
Understand operational requirements and assist with providing support as needed with design, build, and test.
Provide insight to your functional area from your product and industry knowledge
Review implementation of defined processes for Workday, record findings and make recommendations for changes to those processes, as needed.
Review the operational defects or errors and provide scrum team support for remediation
Support transition to automated testing solution once identified
Contractor shall deliver, but not limited to, the following:
Thoroughly assess all existing Workday configuration and artifacts. Document findings and recommendations to scrum and QA team
Provide recommendations, develop action plans, and help implement capabilities to improve Workday Feature Release management
Provide assessment and impact analysis of Workday feature releases relevant to Board’s configuration
Support for operational issues and enhancements to Workday
