Senior zTPF Developer

Job Description

Our client, a leading Randstad company based in Washington DC, is seeking a seasoned Senior zTPF Developer with a strong background in the travel industry. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in zTPF technology, alongside proficiency in Web Services, C/C++, MQ, JSON/XML, API, and tools such as POSTMAN/SOA. Experience with Assembler/TPF Reservations Applications is highly desirable. This role requires a proactive individual with a proven track record in current applications development, including TPFDF, TOOLKIT, and SDLC methodologies. Exceptional analytical skills, effective communication, and collaboration abilities are crucial for success in this dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain zTPF applications within the travel industry domain, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
• Utilize Web Services, C/C++, MQ, JSON/XML, API, and other relevant technologies to enhance and optimize system performance.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Assembler/TPF Reservations Applications, contributing to the enhancement and evolution of reservation systems.
• Actively participate in the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirement analysis to testing and deployment.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions.
• Conduct thorough analysis of system requirements and propose innovative approaches to address complex technical challenges.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, incorporating them into the development process to drive continuous improvement.
• Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to quickly learn and integrate new tools and methodologies into existing workflows.
