The TAC Engineer will be responsible for providing front line technical support to debug complex Security issues in customer production networks, specifically in the SDWAN deployments, by troubleshooting and replicating customer issues of diverse scope.
Educational Qualification
The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent field of study.
Experience
5+ years of hands on experience in the domain of Security protocols and features from a troubleshooting standpoint.
Roles and Responsibilities
Troubleshooting network security related issues in production networks
Replicate the customer issues in lab environment
Work with engineering teams to replicate customer issues and test possible fixes.
Work on problems of diverse scope
Create knowledge articles for subordinates and other team members
Should have a strong background in supporting Security protocols and features (knowledge of
SDWAN/SASE/SSE is a plus)
Essential Skills
Expertise in troubleshooting network security issues (IPsec, SSL vpns, Authentication, Captive portal,
AV, IPS, Radius, ACLs, Web Proxy, DNS Proxy and all aspects of Cloud security)
Should have a good understanding of CA-certs, CA-chain, with exposure to troubleshooting SSL
VPNs and SSL forward proxy
Knowledge of Routing/Switching, specifically OSPF & BGP, is a plus
