Service Operations Specialist

Skills and Responsibilities:
• 5+ years of relevant incident, problem and or change management experience Solid understanding of ITIL V3 processes and principals, ITIL certification desired.
• Experience in IT release management.
• Experience with Agile software development and advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle Experience in the use of Application Release Automation tools.
• Knowledge of traditional agile methodologies, including Scrum, Waterfall, or Kanban Scripting skills, specifically around configuration, build, and release functions Understanding of CI/CD, branching and release strategies
• Ability to organize and execute complex release planning Experience in Configuration Management.
• Hands on experience with collecting configuration information, establishing baselines, verifying, and auditing configuration information, and updating the configuration repositories.
• Understanding of IT Event Management, Cybersecurity event management, Event detection and logging.
• Understanding of Batch Job operations, including Job Scheduling, Job Monitoring, Job Prioritization etc. Experience with CA Workload automation job scheduling tool.
