ServiceNow Developer

Responsibilities: 1. Requirement Analysis: o Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and understand requirements for ServiceNow solutions. o Translate business requirements into technical specifications. 2. Development and Configuration: o Design, develop, and configure ServiceNow applications and modules based on identified requirements. o Customize forms, workflows, business rules, UI pages, and other ServiceNow components. o Integrate ServiceNow with other systems as needed. 3. Scripting and Coding: o Write and maintain scripts in JavaScript, GlideScript, and other scripting languages to enhance functionality and automate processes. o Develop and maintain ServiceNow workflows to streamline business processes. 4. Platform Administration: o Perform ServiceNow platform administration tasks, including user management, access controls, and system configurations. o Monitor system performance and implement optimizations. 5. Testing: o Conduct thorough testing of ServiceNow solutions to ensure they meet quality standards and functional requirements. o Collaborate with quality assurance teams to perform testing as needed. 6. Documentation: o Create and maintain documentation for ServiceNow configurations, customizations, and integrations. o Provide training and documentation to end-users as necessary. 7. Support and Maintenance: o Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing ServiceNow implementations. o Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by users. 8. Stay Current with ServiceNow Technologies: o Keep abreast of new features and functionalities introduced by ServiceNow. o Continuously update skills through training and certifications. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer with a strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform. • Proficiency in JavaScript and other scripting languages. • Knowledge of ITSM processes and best practices. • ServiceNow certification(s) are a plus. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
