Daily Task:

ServiceNow Sr. Development Engineer provides input to multi-year roadmap for client ServiceNow Platform including consultation on platform expansion customer growth service implementation timing as well as lends technical expertise to platform configuration/development standards.

This role works with various project stakeholder and process owners to ensure solution are sounds cost effective to meet business needs. Key to delivering a high level of IT Services across the region they will provide technical leadership in the design and architecture support to mediums to large-sized projects establish relationship with IT leaders architecture and vendor partners to help advance IT solutions integrations and services. This engineering development role collaborates and leads business relationship within and outside of AHM IT.

What will this person be working on:

Maintain client ServiceNow Platform

  • Stay current on ServiceNow products and applicable integrated technologies
  • Develop test and implement new capabilities on the ServiceNow DEV/PROD platform
  • Troubleshoot ServiceNow related issues and manage a ticketing queue for complex or escalated issues
  • Oversee and maintain performance of ServiceNow instance
  • Maintain and manage large discovery environments using multiple MID servers
  • Migrate code through environments and resolve version conflicts
  • Create and maintain ServiceNow Portal and related widgets
  • Write and maintain client/UI and server-side business logic scripts
  • Develop and maintain UI Policies Business Rules Client Scripts UI Macros Data Policies ACLs Notifications

Lead technical management of the ServiceNow Platform Application Lifecycle.

  • Manage application lifecycle through planning and implementing a strong maintenance plan including regular cloning of QA Dev and Prod instances and upgrades regularly to N-1.
  • Maintain synchronization of instances coordinate with process owners and development teams and ensure appropriate testing and release processes.
  • Build orchestration workflows by leveraging features of the ServiceNow platform.
  • Research and implement new features technologies and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with peers to benchmark and bring best practices forward for world class networking and orchestration solutions.

Maintain high level of skills in ever changing platform mentor current and future ServiceNow developers process owners and users.
