Work on implementation, operation, and maintenance of one or more major CMDB products

Work on asset/CI discovery tools, both agent-based and agentless

 

  • Evaluate tools used for discovery coverage and frequency/value of data updates
  • Analyze variety of CMDB / ITAM Discovery data and create reports to identify existing data quality issues for remediation
  • Work on CMDB tool such as ServiceNow to pull data exports, create dashboards, update data attributes using admin access
  • Work on implementation, operation, and maintenance of one or more major CMDB products
  • Map data sources against schema and use cases. Identify integration gaps
  • Work on asset/CI discovery tools, both agent-based and agentless
  • Evaluate tools used for discovery coverage and frequency/value of data updates
  • Work with the teams (US and member firms) to create work-products as per their requirements
  • Demonstrate commitment and focus on quality of deliverables
  • Demonstrate flexibility to work for extended hours to complete high-priority deliverables
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required with preferred knowledge of MS office tools such as MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Visio.

  • IT Asset Management (ITAM) – As a part of ITAM, we are focused on
  • Defining and establishing customer’s ITAM Operating Model including
  • definition of ITAM Policy
  • definition of ITAM Governance Structure roles & responsibilities
  • creation of Integrated ITAM Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, and Informed Matrix (RACI)
  • definition of lifecycle processes for ITAM Service Delivery capabilities
  • Assessing customer’s IT Service Management processes and provide recommendations on enhancement based on ITAM leading practices
  • Enhancing the understanding of the challenges faced by customers in ITAM. Help with activities around IT asset discovery (e.g., Network Devices, Servers, Applications, Databases), classification, and inventory to gain an understanding of the full IT landscape
  • Assisting the customer in managing inventories across the organization, normalize information across inventories and reconcile with other sources/inventories
  • Providing guidance to group assets logically (e.g., users, applications and supporting infrastructure) and map related assets to understand usage and data stored on each asset

Using current asset and application inventories to inform IT operational and cyber security programs across the organization

Qualifications Required:

  • BTech + MBA (Optional)

5-10 years of experience

 

 

Preferred key skills required:

  • Knowledge around ITAM / CMDB

Have experience on leading ITAM / CMDB tools like ServiceNow, SCCM, and SNOW

  • Have hands-on, practical experience with the implementation, operation, and maintenance of one or more major CMDB products recommended
  • Have a broad knowledge of asset/CI discovery tools, both agent-based and agentless
  • Have experience with CMDB integrations from a variety of data sources
  • Usage of CMDB tools like ServiceNow, SCCM, and SNOW recommended
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity
  • Report / present on engagement activities
  • Interact and bridge gaps between other key engagement threads
  • Prioritize and delegate activities, develop our people to be future leaders and SMEs
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels
  • Good communications and interpersonal skills
  • Strong Microsoft Excel/MS PowerPoint skills. MS Visio skills would be preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to think out of the box

Education

Any Graduate
