Duration - 12 months

Cybersecurity Engineering team is seeking a skilled ServiceNow developer and administrator to work on configuration of ServiceNow modules.

Typical Task Breakdown

Day-to-day activities will vary depending on organizational needs, but will include: development, testing, quality assurance, maintenance, support and documentation of solutions. This includes, but is not limited to:
Individual development work in ServiceNow Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC), Vendor Risk Management (VRM) or custom applications
Meeting with process owners to understand requirements and troubleshoot issues
Collaborating with other team members on design, peer code reviews and testing
Understanding system capabilities and provide ideas on how to use the tool to solve business objectives Flexible work arrangement - work location based on daily commitments and how/where person works most efficiently and effectively - must have ability to come onsite as needed.

Interaction With Team

Working with customers and internal customers; working with Scrum master, functional analyst and Work director.

Candidate Requirements

Education & Experience Required

Bachelor (4-year) degree with 8 years IT experience (5 of those must be in Service Now Development)
Resource with no degree would need 10+ years experience (5 of those must be in Service Now Development)
Masters Degree with 6+ years IT experience ( 5 of those must be in Service Now Development)

Technical Skills

(Required)

5+ years experience developing on the ServiceNow platform including the configuration of modules such as GRC Vendor Risk Management
5+ years experience administering ServiceNow including the modification of the workflows, business rules, UI components, ACLs, catalog items and updates.

(Desired)

Experience with ServiceNow Governance, Risk and Compliance is preferred, but not required
Certified System Administrator (CSA) qualification from ServiceNow
Experience implementing systems using the Agile/Scrum methodology

Soft Skills

(Required)

Good analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve technical issues
A good understanding of IT service management and IT service delivery standards
Excellent knowledge of ServiceNow Best Practices and latest ServiceNow features
Must be adaptable to work in a varied, fast paced, ever changing environment
Excellent communication skills, presentation, writing skills and the ability to work with business partners
