ServiceNow Developer

Expected Responsibilities:

Will need to learn ServiceNow app development in various areas such as: Service Portal, ITSM, ITAM, ITOM and CMDB

Will be asked to complete ServiceNow Training (ServiceNow Fundamentals Course) and possibly achieve ServiceNow certifications such as Certified Application Developer

Develop custom ServiceNow applications using modern web technologies

Configure out-of-the-box workflows and create/maintain custom workflows

Developing user-friendly catalog items with experience writing orchestration workflows such as Content Management and Web Services

Responsible for Discovery and CMDB, including best practices for managing and scaling the CMDB

Follow, maintain, and apply documentation best practice policies, procedures, and processes throughout ServiceNow development

Must be able to influence and consult including providing options with pros, cons and risks around key technical decisions during design and implementation

Strong organizational skills and understanding of Project/Software Management lifecycle

Education Requirement:

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field of study.

Required Skills:

1-2 years of experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and desire to learn ServiceNow Platform

Knowledge of web-based protocols and standards (Web services, SOAP, REST, WSDL, JSON, XML)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to be a self-starter, pay strict attention to detail and multitask across multiple projects and clients in a fast-paced, team-based environment
