Job Responsibilities

Develop ServiceNow enhancements and modifications to existing applications such as ITSM, CMDB as well as create custom applications.

Create and modify business rules, script includes, UI Actions, widgets, and other advanced development functions.

Support, edit, and create integrations to other products and services including the use of integration hub and orchestration, webservices, scripted APIs, and related transform mappings.

Work as a team to troubleshoot complex issues or complex development but also be able to work on your own independently from others.

Triage and support issues from users on the ServiceNow platform and related applications and modules.

Document and annotate scripts, process flows, update sets, and other workflows associated with ServiceNow development.

Conducts system analysis, process flows, system interfaces, validations, testing, training, implementation, and change management.

Work closely with business leadership to respond to, and proactively identify, challenges that can be solved with system and/or process improvements.

Work closely and effectively with others to maintain consistent process and documentation around requirements, design, development & deployment.

Prepare necessary documentation and perform adequate knowledge transfer to the support, administration and learning and development teams to ensure effective change management and adoption.

Maintains membership in relevant industry groups and conferences

Required Skills & Abilities

5-8 years of experience in a system engineering role

3-5 years of hands-on ServiceNow administration and implementation

ServiceNow Certified System Administration Certification required

ServiceNow Certified Application Developer required

Experience building custom business rules, script includes, widgets, macros and other advanced development functions

Strong problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills and willingness to present on a variety of functional or technical topics to broad audiences.

Strong understanding of scoped applications and custom application development

Proficient in the following languages: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS

Desire to learn and apply new technologies

Proficient in Agile development methodologies
