Responsibilities
The ServiceNow Implementation Specialist is a subject matter expert (SME) and manages end-to-end implementations, provides expert level of support and technical mentoring to developers. They will perform the necessary tasks to design develop configurations, and work on implementation and customizations on ServiceNow platform.
- Create table and schema
- Common Integrations (LDAP, Single Sign-on, Multi-factor Authentication) setup
- Web Services and REST, Orchestration, Discovery Integrations
- Integration Implementation and troubleshooting experience with various 3rd party tool using different available interfaces provided by Service Now like web service, JDBC, Data sources etc.
- Tuning performance of system
- Access high security setting
- Implementation approaches to meet requirements that preserve upgradability, scalability, and maintainability
- Implementation solutions that work in conjunction with baseline application functionality
- Selection of appropriate features and functions to meet business requirements
- Work on Primary application components (Script Includes, Business Rules, etc.)
- Understand and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for cutover go-live preparation
- Participate in Gather and record technical requirements during a Workshop along with solution Architects/consultants
- Prepare go live preparation & checklist for implementation and upgrade projects. Hands on implementation based upon functional requirements.
- Involve in ServiceNow upgrades along with help of development team
Role Pre-Requisites
The candidate should have 4-6 years of deep development and implementation experience in Service Now ITSM and Non ITSM Applications. Should have exposure to ServiceNow Advanced System Administration and ServiceNow Scripting in minimum of 2 ServiceNow deployment projects or maintaining ServiceNow instances.
Technical Skills
Java, Angular JS, Jelly Scripting, Bootstrap knowledge, HTML and CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, DBMS Concepts, ServiceNow ITSM modules (Incident, problem, Change, Knowledge, release, SLM, Reporting), ServiceNow Non ITSM Application(ITSM, ITBM, ITFM, HRMS , CSM, ITOM), ServiceNow Platform and Cloud architecture understanding
