Overview
As a ServiceNow resource, you will play a critical role in the successful implementation, configuration, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform within our organization. Your expertise in ServiceNow will be instrumental in driving process improvements, enhancing user experience, and ensuring efficient delivery of IT services. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and drive the adoption of best practices within the ServiceNow framework.
Key responsibilities
Implement and configure the ServiceNow platform to meet business requirements
Design, develop, and implement custom applications and solutions within ServiceNow
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Configure and customize ServiceNow modules including Incident, Problem, Change, and Asset Management
Create and maintain ServiceNow workflows, forms, reports, and dashboards
Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other systems
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the ServiceNow platform
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ServiceNow functionality and configuration
Conduct testing and quality assurance of ServiceNow applications and modules
Ensure compliance with best practices, standards, and policies within the ServiceNow environment
Train and mentor end-users and colleagues on ServiceNow functionality and best practices
Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new ServiceNow features and capabilities
Contribute to the continuous improvement of ServiceNow processes and functionalities
Document technical designs, configurations, and processes within the ServiceNow platform
Stay updated with ServiceNow releases, patches, and new features, and evaluate their impact on the existing environment
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification
5+ years of experience in ServiceNow administration, development, and implementation
Solid understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and frameworks
Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies
Experience in designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow workflows and automation
Ability to write and troubleshoot JavaScript, Glide, and Jelly scripts in ServiceNow
Knowledge of ServiceNow Service Portal development and customization
Experience in integrating ServiceNow with other systems using web services, REST APIs, etc.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification is a plus
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ITIL framework is advantageous
Proven track record of successful ServiceNow implementations and enhancements
