ServiceNow Security Operations Analyst

Austin, TX (Remote within TX, if Austin local, candidate must go onsite 2 days/wk)

6 months Contract with possibility to extension

ServiceNow Security Operation Analyst will be responsible for gathering requirements, creating stories, perform QC, create test scripts and closely work with business on system capabilities. This position will assist users and developers in all phases of sprints and project work including testing, documenting requirements and test script, quality control and communications.

• previous exp implementing and knowledge of ServiceNow Security Operation capabilities
• Gathering business, functional and non functional requirements
• performing quality control checks before release to test environment for UAT
• create test scripts and lead UAT
• Assist OM on required documentation
• provide expertise and work with business to create story backlog for enhancements to vulnerability response
• Analyst to implement Configuration Compliance through configuration and minimal customization to include but not limited to
• configure integration with Tenable for Compliance Scanning
• configure workflow for exception management
• configuration of Risk calculator
• configuration of Risk score roll up calculator
• configure CI based Assignment rules
• configuration of Report to View issued resulting from Tenable import
• Technical design document including RTM
• Analyst to implement Security Incident response through configuration and minimal customization to include but not limited to
• Integrations to Sentinel, SolarWinds, CISCO and Microsoft products
• Configure Event Management for security Incident response
• Configure Alert rules
• Configure Security incident Escalation paths
• Configure SIR risk calculator
• Configure SLA
• Configure related catalogue items
• Configure automated run books
• Import of runbook articles
• Technical design documents including RTM
• Configure performance analytics for security operations, including indicator sources, breakdowns, data collector jobs, reports and dashboards.
• Extensive knowledge in Configuration Management Database and related configurations with Security Operations
• Provide expertise and gather requirements for integrations between ServiceNow and third party systems (REST, orchestration, and other relevant methodologies)
• Provide alternatives to c customizations by exploring out of the box capabilities and configuration.
