Description

Responsibilities

  • Ensure successful development using Agile and DevOps methodologies of complex systems and solutions
  • Lead the entire development life cycle with software engineering best practices, including setting coding standards, perform code reviews, running SCRUMs with JIRA expertise, source control management (Git, Sourcetree, etc.),
  • Gain an understanding of existing codebases and systems for the full stack and develop code as needed to support products and solutions. Technologies include: Cloud native IaaS and PaaS (Azure, AWS), Web UI frameworks (Angular, React, etc. using CLI, grunt, webpack, etc.), API definition (RAML, Swagger, JSON), Backend (Java, Databases, etc.), Integrations (ESB, legacy system integration, etc.), configure continuous integration and continuous delivery systems (Jenkins, Nexus, Docker, etc.)
  • Help architect new applications by evaluating technologies and working with solution architects and product managers
  • Oversight of all documentation to ensure the development team are efficient and affective (technical details, setup info, standards, environments, etc.)
  • Responsible for the design and implementation of technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform to satisfy the business needs of the client.
  • Works with the Scrum Master to prioritize development tasks and then transforms the requirements into solutions within ServiceNow.
  • Collaborates with Business Analysts to better understand the business need and propose options where possible.
  • Works with the Test team to ensure that the features can be tested. and resolves any defects / incorporates updates as required.

 

Qualifications

  • At least 8 years of experience in hands-on ServiceNow (either system administration, User Interface modification or architectural knowledge) meeting client requirements and performing system tuning
  • At least 8 years of experience in developing on the ServiceNow platform including the customization of the core applications such as Portal, Case, Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Catalog, Knowledge Management
  • At least 3 years of experience leading other technical team members to a desired solution-requirements review, code reviews, support and coaching
  • At least 5-10 years of experience in demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills; written and oral
  • At least 5 years of experience in/with ITIL
  • At least 1 year experience in automation test framework
  • Experience configuring SLAs, Service Catalog, Workflow
  • Experience with the configuration of Applications, Modules, Domains, Business Rules, Users/Groups, ACL's, SSO, tables, indexes, views, script include, scripted Rest API, nodes, mid servers, etc.
  • Experience working with Update Sets
  • Understanding of packaging and migration of configurations
  • Ability to tailor existing ITIL workflows to customer requirements using workflow editor
  • Design of custom reports knowledge, and basic data loading principles
  • At least 3 years of experience as an Architect or Solutions lead on ServiceNow Implementations projects.
  • Knowledge of integrating ServiceNow with different applications
  • ServiceNow certification a plus
  • Experience with CMDB and Discovery
