Job description
Role Salesforce Business Analyst will be responsible for requirements gathering, documenting the requirements, validating test cases for requirements, scheduling calls, ensuring the deliverables are released as per original estimation. You will be working closely with the Technical Manager, Developers and QA team. On a daily basis, you will be interacting with end users on support issues based on the need. As per the business working model support requests and change requests are handled by the team and you will be playing your role based on the need.
You will also be documenting the end to end process on the functionalities that are currently in production and also for the future enhancements. You will possess full understanding of the application and will guide teams based on the need. You will be a quick learner and will be performing business analysis tasks for other Applications as well.
Responsibilities:.

  • Establishing yourself as the functional SME providing support for our Salesforce Platform.
  • Uncover needs that business stakeholders and end users would not be able to articulate on their own.
  • Create and maintain functional specification documentation, E2E business process design/flow, UAT test scripts and documentation support for enablement.
  • Delivering the requirements to Developers and QA team, and working with them closely to ensure that requirements are met as per the business need.
  • Should be able to work with end users on support issues and help them fix the issues.
  • Coordinate and conduct meetings with stakeholders to document user requirements and functional specifications and keep everyone informed and aligned throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Adapts to changes in business strategy and ensure that requirements are realigned across systems as well working with other Business Analysts.
  • Supports applications that are integrated with Salesforce.
  • Managing and communicating the status of deliverables, issues, and risks across multiple work streams
  • Possesses advanced level understanding of BA, QA/QC professional standards, business processes, workflows, methodologies, and leading practices.
  • Responsible for conducting design thinking sessions to gain insights into end user and customer needs. Manages the backlog, working with the Technical Manager to prioritize requirements, define and manage scope and sprints for a project
  • Participates in reviews of plans associated with project execution
  • Responds proactively to both business and project issues and escalates appropriately
  • Ensues communication of Change Management activities and confirms solution and schedule adaptability.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Should be a graduate in B.tech or MCA.
  • Should have a total of 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Must have minimum experience of 3+ years working in Salesforce ecosystem projects.
  • Should possess understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Force.com platform.
  • Need to have a functional understanding of Workflows, Process builders, Flows, Validation rules, page layouts and lightning pages.
  • Nice to have experience working on Salesforce Lightning projects.
  • Both business savvy and technology savvy. Ability to learn quickly in both business domain and technology domain
  • Experience in creating, maintaining, and supporting all application development artifacts including user stories, process flows, screen mock-ups, data diagrams, business rule definitions, design documents, user manuals, and training materials.
  • Should be a quick learner and need to be able to work on different business applications for business analysis.
