JD:

 

*The Sr. Functional Architect is responsible for marketing and business process consulting and delivering quality service and solutions to clients by understanding client needs and implementing a solution that provides successful results and outcomes for the client.

*This position acts as a liaison between technical and non-technical staff to ensure the solution meets the client’s business needs and completed to Magnet360

*Successful Salesforce Digital Marketing Functional Architects not only have a depth and breadth of understanding

*Provide consultative solutions to implement marketing tools like Salesforce Marketing Cloud (email, SMS, social, web, advertising, analytics, etc.) and Pardot

*Collaborate with team to understand project requirements and translate those requirements into clear and comprehensive user stories

*Assist planning and coordination to keep the project on track

*Develop proposed solutions to clients and prospects by articulating approach and strategy as it directly relates to meeting project and business objectives

*Drive soft-sales (up-selling opportunities) or articulate these opportunities to the appropriate channels

*Exceed expectations of the customer by providing a high-quality solutions and service, in order to create a mutually beneficial outcome

*Understand the intended audiences for the solution, purpose of engaging these audiences, and validate against objectives and success metrics

*Communicate project status updates and elevate project concerns to Project Manager

*Provide future-looking solutions and recommendations based on forthcoming Marketing Cloud and Pardot releases

*Identify and communicate internal and project process improvement opportunities

*Participate in and lead client facing Sprint demo(s)

*Stay up to date on technology to provide future-looking solutions and recommendations and participate in Magnet360 marketing thought leadership

*Manage and maintain a collaborative working relationship with clients and consistently deliver high-quality services

*Participate in project closure and “lessons learned” debrief process

*Help to ensure project(s) achieve their intended results. Bring forward recommendations on projects to achieve even greater results

*Improvement to and maintenance of Digital Marketing Center of Excellence processes and templates and participate in Magnet360 marketing thought leadership

 

Desired Candidate Profile:

*Ability to think on your feet and learn new things quickly

*5+ years consulting/professional services experience

*Consulting experience with emphasis on marketing and business processes, organizational change management, training and user adoption preferred.

*Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and visual) with the ability to interface with clients and internal team members at all levels (executive to staff)

*Expertise executing and leading a development project

*Ability to gather and prioritize requirements and adapt to shifting priorities

*Ability to lead client facing meetings including working sessions, demos, and requirements gathering

*Understanding of Agile methodologies, especially prioritization and management of flexible scope

*Experience collaborating with offshore resources preferred

*Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills

*Possess extensive experience and judgment in planning for and accomplishing goals

*Mentor other members of the project team

*Ability to travel up to 80% preferred

 

Technical Expertise:

*3+ years Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Pardot configuration or development experience or equivalent marketing automation experience

*Experience with Core Salesforce functionality, processes and integrations to Salesforce marketing automation platforms

 

Preferable Technical Experience:

*Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications are strongly encouraged

*Development experience – HTML, CSS, AMPscript, SQL, SSJS

 

Educational Qualifications:

*College degree or equivalent is preferred
