Job Description

 

POSITION SUMMARY

 

Our innovative company is looking to fill the role of Lead Developer, O365 Sharepoint. Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications. While this is our ideal list, we will consider candidates that do not necessarily have all the qualifications but have sufficient experience and talent.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:  

 

  • Backup and restore of the SharePoint portals, site collections, sites, lists and libraries
  • Hands on Experience in using Web Parts, Site Collections, Content Deployment, InfoPath Forms, Excel Services, Business Data Catalogs, Site Columns, Content Types, Authorizations, Workflows, Advanced Search, Master pages and Content pages, Search settings
  • Experience in migrating content from different data sources to SharePoint
  • Experience with Developing PowerApps and PowerAutomate Flows
  • Experience with SPFx
  • Experience using Nintex, SharePoint Designer and Infopath
  • Good knowledge of STSADM and Power Shell commands
  • Experienced in using third party Administration tools but being able to power shell when the tools are not available
  • Strong attention to detail, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to convey thoughts and ideas clearly and effectively in written and verbal form
  • Proven experience with optimization, troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniques
  • Perform root cause analysis for production issues in the applications. Fix the problems and perform enhancements to prevent future application problems
  • Perform testing for application support and development related activities. Work with business and QA teams to develop test scripts and perform testing
  • Develop work estimates, Rough Order of Magnitude estimates, for System Enhancement Requests and problem tickets
  • Design, develop, test, and Implement enterprise level applications with significant integrated components
  • Follow the department’s SDLC processes for application support and development
  • Support daily activities such as creating/updating sites, account creation, managing permissions, and responding to events and messages reported in Event Viewer and Performance Monitor
    Coordinate with infrastructure teams, application developers, quality assurance, database administration, and the business units to ensure availability, reliability, and scalability of the SharePoint environment to meet corporate objective
  • Ensure the integrity of the SharePoint environment including implementing application service packs, cumulative updates, hotfixes, upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning
    Create and manage a backup plan for critical SharePoint data
  • Migration of SharePoint sites through Sharegate, Metalogix.
  • Manage power apps (canvas and model driven apps) and able to make customizations as per requirements.
  • Design and support power automate flows, Nintex and SharePoint designer workflows.

Qualifications

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:  

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • 8+ years of experience in MS SharePoint administration is required
  • Proven experience with optimization, troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniques
  • Hands on Experience in using Web Parts, Site Collections, Content Deployment, InfoPath Forms, Excel Services, Business Data Catalogs, Site Columns, Content Types, Authorizations, Workflows, Advanced Search, Master pages and Content pages, Search settings
  • Experience in configuring all service applications (2013) and configuring SharePoint Security
  • Experience building and managing medium to large Windows / Microsoft SharePoint server farms with high availability
  • Experience in migrating content from different data sources to SharePoint
  • Experience building and managing SharePoint DR Infrastructure
  • Experience with Developing PowerApps and PowerAutomate Flows.
  • Experience with SPFx
  • Experience using Nintex, SharePoint Designer and Infopath
  • Experience using third party Administration tools but being able to power shell when the tools are not available
  • Experience working in ITIL framework
  • Manage Data Loss Policy (DLP) Administration for SP & Power Platform
  • Manage and provision SP Online & Power Platforms all Environment
  • User Management for Adding Users, Modifying Users, Removing Users, Generating User Reports, monitoring long running SQL, flows impacting platform performance
  • Work with Microsoft for SP & Power Platform to troubleshoot platform related issues
  • Support/troubleshooting all Content produced by Power Platform 
  • Provide Best Effort support to assist users with troubleshooting their existing content created with Power Automate or Power Apps
  • Migration of SharePoint sites through Sharegate, Metalogix.
    Manage power apps (canvas and model driven apps) and able to make customizations as per requirements.
  • Design and support power automate flows, Nintex and SharePoint designer workflows.
  • Experience on MS Teams, OneDrive, Exchange will be an added advantage
  •  

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Ability to travel up to 10%; may include international travel
